Contemporary dish drying racks provide convenience in the kitchen, particularly when space is limited. They enable you to drain plates, cutlery, and other utensils easily across the sink without compromising on bench space.

Our Sink Drainers Range

Our Penelope Kitchen Sink Drainers are over-the-sink dish racks that are made from 304 stainless steel, with self-gripping rubbers to ensure stability and prevent surface scratching. These over-the-sink drying racks are a convenient alternative for drying your dishes and cutlery. Simply roll your dish drying rack over the surface of your sink for quick, convenient usage and roll back up for easy storage.

We offer stainless steel dish rack stainless steel products that are available in four attractive finishes. These include brushed brass, brushed copper, brushed gunmetal, and stainless steel. These over-the-sink dish drainers are coated with PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) – ABI’s Heat Shield, which is an industrial-grade electro-colouring system that ensures surface integrity.

We also sell more conventionally designed bench top dish racks that are equally available in four unique finishes. These include brushed brass, brushed copper, brushed gunmetal, and stainless steel.

Sink Drainers FAQs

How do I clean my sink drainer and can it go through the dishwasher?

This product is not dishwasher safe. Please ensure you only hand wash your in-sink dish drainer with warm soapy water.

How do I care for my over-the-sink rack?

Ensure you flush the stainless steel immediately with plenty of water and clean it with a soft cloth if it comes into contact with any strong acids. Acidic food waste should be removed quickly from the stainless steel surface after use. Don’t leave any acidic food waste (such as vinegar, salt etc) on your drainer board for long periods of time.

To ensure that you carry out frequent cleaning of your over-the-sink dish rack using a soft cloth and mild detergent. Don’t place hot objects or substances onto your dish strainers. Also, avoid using any abrasive detergents, steel wool pads or bleach while cleaning your sink draining board. Do not use acids or chemicals such as chlorine, battery acid, muriatic acid, glues, or paint removers. Ensure your dish tray isn’t exposed to flames or gas.

How do I install the kitchen sink drainer?

There is no installation required with our over-the-sink dish drying rack. For your convenience, your sink drainer tray is preassembled and ready for use.

Would I be able to use this dish rack drainer externally?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a warranty that covers the external use of an in-sink dish rack. However, due to its stainless steel construction, your dish drainer tray would be suitable for outdoor use. The PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating would be more susceptible to damage, yet the structural integrity of the dish drying rack would be fine.
