Our Basin Wastes Range

Our range of basin wastes comes in a wide range of finishes to match any bathroom scheme. Their universal design allows them to be used with and without a sink overflow, and they are easy to install and use.

ABI Interiors’ pop-up plugs sit flush with the rim when they are in the closed position and then pop open. Simply press your sink waste and it will close, allowing you to fill your basin. Then, press it again to release the water into your pipes.

The streamlined design of our Avi Pop-Up Waste is an aesthetic and functional finishing touch to your basin. Avi is designed to pair perfectly with our entire range of basins, but its universal sizing also makes it suitable for existing 40mm to 48mm basin sink holes. Each pop-up waste has a standard bottom thread of 40mm, allowing for easy installation and maintenance. This product is available in our seven signature finishes: brushed brass, brushed nickel, brushed copper, brushed gunmetal, chrome, matte black, and white.

We also offer Avi Pop-Up Waste Lid to be used specifically with our pop-up basin wastes. This accessory allows you to block and unblock your sink whenever required. The lid screws onto the body of the Avi Pop-Up Waste exclusively, which means you can change the lid colour at any time to match your basin and surrounding space. It features a 63mm diameter and solid brass construction that ensures durability even when frequently used. This waste is available in the same finishes as our Avi Pop-Up Waste, plus gloss white, almond, and posy.

Are your basin wastes a standard size?

Yes, our basin wastes are made to an Australian and New Zealand standard. All of our products meet strict Australian and New Zealand guidelines and WaterMark ratings. Our tapware is certified under AS/NZS 3718:2005.

Our WaterMark labels refer only to the AS/NZS 3718:2005 because it includes the AS/NZS 4020 Standard.

Will your basin wastes fit any basin?

Our wastes generally will fit any basin, however, it is always best to double-check with the basin supplier and their specifications or your licensed plumber if you are not sourcing your basin through ABI Interiors. Please check back with our specification sheet that you may find under the ‘Product Documents’ tab on the product page.

Do your pop-up basin wastes have an overflow, or can they work with a basin that has an overflow?
