CSR and Sustainability
A carbon-neutral organisation, ABI Interiors is committed to ethical business practices, delivering sustainable tapware and environmentally responsible solutions.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Guided by our values of quality, trust, innovation, passion, and responsibility, we are committed to a sustainable future. Through product longevity, water efficiency, and cleaner manufacturing, we aim to minimise our environmental impact and inspire global communities to thrive. As of 2025, ABI Interiors is proud to be officially carbon neutral worldwide.
Longevity
Our products are made from durable materials that promote longevity and sustainable design. Where structurally possible, we choose metal over plastic components. As a result, our sustainable tapware and wider product range have longer life cycles, are less likely to require replacement and are supported by our 25-year structural warranty.
To maximise product lifecycle, we’ve developed innovations like our interchangeable Infiniti Technology, enabling tapware upgrades without demolition.
Water Efficiency
We prioritise water efficiency, with all tapware meeting WELS standards — 84% rated 4-star or higher, and up to 6-star, with certain models operating as low as 4–5 L/min. Full water usage data is disclosed on specific product pages, helping customers make informed, sustainable choices.
Additionally, our Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) tapware coating generates significantly less wastewater than electroplating. Wastewater is cleaned at our eco-industrial zone before entering the municipal system. While costlier, it safeguards the environment and local communities.
Cleaner Manufacturing
We offer innovative products made from greener metals, such as 304 and 316 stainless steel, which are energy efficient and entirely lead-free.
The lead content in our brass products is well below regulatory standards, and we are committed to eliminating it completely by 1 May 2026.
The majority of our hardware is coloured using the aforementioned PVD — a more energy-efficient process that produces no harmful waste.
Our efficiently designed packaging protects product integrity and uses recyclable materials where possible.
Materials
We take great care in sourcing high-quality components and materials from around the world. Every selection involves rigorous testing and performance analysis to ensure long-lasting functionality and to safeguard mechanical integrity. This approach extends to our core materials: solid brass, stainless steel, solid surface, and acrylic — each carefully examined for quality before construction begins.
Our Process
Our ISO 9001-certified China facility now applies our pioneering PVD coating, bonding directly to the surface to create a pure, high-performance finish resistant to scratches and corrosion. Available in brushed brass, copper, nickel, gunmetal, and select matte black, our PVD finishes combine lasting durability with quality and sustainability. We aim for 50% in-house coating by 2027 and 100% by 2030, further enhancing quality control and sustainability.
Sustainable Forestry Products
All of our vanity units are made using Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber products ensuring they are sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Our Community
We demonstrate a commitment to meaningful change through our unique community partnerships.
Our People, Our Culture
We’re proud to offer a welcoming, empowering, and purpose-driven workplace. Our culture is shaped by the generosity of our founders and a strong sense of belonging, where trust, honesty, and accountability empower every team member to thrive.
We champion professional growth through global learning opportunities and upskilling initiatives aligned with our business goals. Our fast-paced, creative environment values diverse perspectives and fresh ideas.
Wellbeing is central to how we work, supported by initiatives such as our paid community engagement policy, which provides every team member two days each year to give back, and a strong CSR focus driven by meaningful partnerships.

Our teams benefit from flexible work arrangements, reward and recognition initiatives, and access to subsidised fitness and wellness offerings across all locations. With thoughtfully designed workspaces, daily barista-made coffee, and regular team events, ABI fosters a vibrant, supportive environment where people feel at home and inspired to do their best work.
Our Partnerships
We demonstrate a commitment to meaningful change through our unique community partnerships.
Baby Give Back
Baby Give Back supports families in crisis — a mission we’re proud to stand behind. What began as a personal connection in 2023 has evolved into a meaningful, ongoing partnership. From donating over 158,000 nappies and rebuilding their warehouse to regular volunteering, auction contributions, and fundraising through i=Change, we’re committed to helping them make a lasting impact.
Mob Academy
We’re proud to support Men of Business (MOB) Academy in empowering young, disadvantaged boys through education and opportunity. From donations and fundraising support to offering career pathways at ABI Interiors, we’ve seen the powerful impact of helping students build brighter futures.
Ronald McDonald House
We're equally proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping provide comfort to families with seriously ill or injured children. Our contributions include product donations for houses and family retreat cabins across Queensland and New South Wales, cash and voucher donations for fundraising auctions, food drives, and volunteer support.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Our trusted manufacturing partnerships are built on shared values, with ethical practices reinforced through audits, visits, and a strict Supplier Code of Conduct.
Our Suppliers
We work closely with long-standing manufacturing partners in China, many of whom were personally selected by our founders. Built on trust and shared values, these relationships are key to our success.
We’re committed to ethical and transparent practices, supported by regular in-person audits, unannounced factory visits, and a Supplier Code of Conduct that ensures safe, fair, and accountable working conditions.
Code Principles
Our business is founded on integrity, respect for human rights, and a commitment to environmental sustainability. We expect our suppliers to share these values and uphold these principles. Compliance with this code is a condition of our business relationships.
Human Rights & Modern Slavery
We uphold human rights and commit to eliminating modern slavery. See our Modern Slavery Statement below.
Health and Safety
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for their employees.
Environmental Stewardship
We are committed to sustainability and expects suppliers to minimise their environmental impact.
Ethical Business Practices
Suppliers must act with integrity, prohibiting all forms of corruption and unethical conduct.
Continuous Improvement
Suppliers are encouraged to continually improve labour, environmental, and ethical practices.
Modern Slavery
As ABI Interiors has evolved from humble beginnings in 2016 to a global business with a complex supply chain, so too has our responsibility to protect human rights. This, our first Modern Slavery Statement, reflects our commitment to addressing the risks of modern slavery within our operations. We recognise that ethical growth requires a more formal, hands-on approach — one built on transparency, strong supplier relationships, and shared values. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on refining our practices, deepening our understanding, and working collaboratively to uphold an ethical and sustainable supply chain
Our Carbon Footprint
We're committed to becoming a carbon neutral business, taking meaningful steps to reduce and offset our carbon emissions across our global operations.
Tracking Our Progress
In 2024, ABI Interiors measured total emissions across our global operations at 9,462 tCO₂-e.
Notably, 97.9% of these emissions were Scope 3, reflecting the broader environmental impact of our supply chain and service providers.
Emissions were tracked across Australia, China, New Zealand, and the UK, capturing our organisation's activities in each region.
Australia accounted for 80.3% of total emissions, primarily due to the concentration of freight and central operations in the region.
Offsetting Our Carbon Emissions
In 2024, we partnered with Earthed Consulting to conduct a comprehensive Greenhouse Gas assessment, aligned with Climate Active standards, covering our global operations (excluding product lifecycle emissions). Our total emissions were 9,461.66 tCO₂-e, which we fully offset to achieve carbon neutrality while continuing to reduce our footprint and foster positive social impact.
Expanding Solar Energy
Despite being carbon neutral, we are continuing to invest in renewable energy. By 2026, we’ll expand our solar generation with additional panels and implement battery storage, aiming to source all our electricity from green sources and further reduce grid consumption.

Our mission to enrich lives by enriching spaces extends beyond design — it’s about creating meaningful change. Through our partnership with i=Change, we donate $1 from every eligible order to charities such as Baby Give Back and Hagar Australia, empowering customers to make a difference with every purchase.
