Our Story
After years of researching materials, building relationships with suppliers, and crafting designs, ABI Interiors moved away from its humble garage set-up.
Our founders opened the first brick-and-mortar store in Burleigh Heads in June 2016, selling only tiles and rose gold and matte black bathroom fixtures.
In 2018, we launched our brushed brass finish, becoming one of the first suppliers to provide cost-effective PVD colouring. This inspired us to increase our signature finishes to seven by 2019, and expand our range to encompass a wider selection of kitchen and laundry fixtures.
Our fast-growing visibility in the industry demanded a strong e-commerce platform and strategy, plus a second ABI Interiors showroom based in
New Zealand.
Importantly, this state of flux revealed our core values and cemented them into the structure of the business:

By 2021, our departments were more and more refined, giving us the processes and resources to expand to the other side of the world — opening our third showroom in London.
Come 2022, our social media accounts were taking enormous public strides and the business as a whole obtained the nationally acclaimed Australian Export Award for E-Commerce.
In 2023, we opened the doors to our brand-new HQ and state-of-the-art showroom in the Gold Coast, bringing all aspects of our identity together in one place to nurture the creativity and passion of our hardworking employees into the next phase of our journey.
We also introduced the now multi-award-winning Aliro Collection, a comprehensive range of accessible, ambulant, and assisted living bathroom products combining functionality, durability, and safety with aesthetics.
Being internationally recognised for this collection has filled our team with pride and strengthened our commitment to championing inclusivity at the forefront of interior design.
