What’s the best way to clean the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin (Overflow)?
Clean any marks or stains as soon as they occur. Clean with warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth to remove most markings or use a cream-based cleanser. Fine grade sandpaper can be used to remove stains or markings in some instances - fine grit sandpaper is included with your purchase.
Can a tapware hole be added to the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin (Overflow)?
There is roughly 67mm of space to drill a 30-35mm hole (depending on your choice of tapware). While it is achievable, this would be a complex installation and recommend only for experienced plumbers.
Which tap is best suited to the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin 400mm (Overflow)?
To ensure optimal water flow placement, the compact Mini Wall-Mounted Spout best suits the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin 400mm (Overflow), allowing the stream to fall neatly into the centre of the basin.
Do the wastes act as an overflow, and how do they work with overflow basins?
Wastes themselves do not act as overflow prevention. When the waste or plug is pushed down (closed), the basin will fill and can potentially overflow. However, basins with an integrated overflow outlet are designed to prevent this. As the basin fills, any excess flows through the overflow outlet and into the waste pipe at a rate of 9L per minute — helping to prevent the water from spilling over.
When the waste is open and the basin is clear of blockages, water should drain normally without reaching the overflow level.
Can the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin be bench-mounted?
While it’s possible to bench mount the Vesi Wall-Mounted Basin, it is not recommended, as it requires a significant hole to be cut into the benchtop. Before proceeding, it’s best to consult a professional tradesperson for advice.
