Crafted using our exclusive 3-step process that integrates ceramic and vibrational technology with the superior durability of advanced PVD, this finish features artisanal texture that exudes organic elegance. Its luxurious, hand-crafted feel sets it apart from more conventional brushed finishes, making it a striking statement piece that enhances both modern and traditional interiors.
Please note:
– Please do not cut door out until you receive stock.
– Davis door handles cannot be installed onto existing doors due to the back plate being smaller in diameter than standard door handles. Please refer to the specification sheet to ensure this handle is suitable for your door.
– Davis Door Handle Striker Plate suits 11mm maximum architrave – if the architrave exceeds the maximum you may require an extended striker plate. Extended striker plates are unavailable at ABI.
– Due to the organic and handcrafted nature of our antique finish, subtle variations in colour, tone, and texture may occur, adding to the unique character of each piece.

Antique Bronze
Each Antique product undergoes ABI’s exclusive three-step tumbling process, which uses ceramic and vibrational technology to create a distinctly organic texture. This is enhanced with ABI HeatShield PVD electro-colouring, delivering superior resistance to tarnishing, corrosion, and everyday wear. Due to the nature of this process, subtle variations in finish will occur. No two products are exactly the same, allowing for individuality in your design.
Like many materials, colour may vary slightly between products due to lighting conditions and how different surfaces (flat or curved) reflect light. We recommend checking your items upon delivery to ensure you’re happy with the finish. If anything isn’t quite right, our team is always here to help.

Product FAQs
Can the door handle be installed on existing doors?
Answer: Unfortunately, this product cannot be used on existing doors. The install will need to be applied to a new door.
Can this product be used externally/outside?
Answer: ABI’s warranty does not cover external use due to the coatings being put under much harsher conditions and UV light. However, the structural integrity of the Door Handle would be fine.
Does the door handle have a privacy option?
Answer: Yes, this door handle can be paired with our Dion Privacy Snib Lock. You can shop this here.
Can you use the Davis as a dummy door handle?
Yes, you can install the Davis as a dummy door handle, (please refer to the installation guide for further guidance).
Can I start the install process before I receive the product?
We do not recommend cutting out the door until you receive this product.
We have recently improved the latch design for the Davis Door Handle. This improvement is to help ease of installation and reduce the cost of labour. Please note the product design is visually the same.
This is a transitional process and implementation timing will vary for each Finish due to different stock levels. For this reason we strictly recommend not cutting out the door until you receive this product.
Will antique finishes patina/age over time?
No, our engineered Antique finish combines organic texture with advanced PVD coating for long-lasting durability that resists tarnishing or patina when properly maintained. It provides the tarnished appearance of aged metal without the unpredictability of further patination, making it an excellent option for those seeking consistency in their design.
Are the Antique finishes lead-free?
This product is certified lead-free in accordance with the lead free requirements contained in the National Construction Code Volume Three.
What is the difference between brushed and antique finishes?
Our Antique products undergo a unique 3-step tumbling process to create a distinctive artisanal texture with a beautifully lived-in feel. Unlike our signature brushed finishes, which offer a radiant shine, the Antique Collection embraces a more organic, matte appearance.
