About the Expert

About Alexandra.

Alexandra French is a Product Design Manager at ABI Interiors, leading the design of the brand’s tapware, hardware, and bathroom fittings. With more than a decade of experience spanning industrial design, product development, and architectural lighting, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to creating products that balance refined aesthetics with exceptional performance.

Before joining ABI, Alexandra worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Clandestine Design Group, developing consumer and commercial products from concept through to manufacture. Earlier, she was a Lighting Designer at WSP, applying design thinking to architectural environments. Alongside her professional career, she has founded and co-founded several independent ventures, giving her a practical understanding of every stage of product development, from initial concept to market.

At ABI, Alexandra oversees the full product development process, from trend forecasting and concept design to prototyping, material and finish specification, sample evaluation, and manufacturing refinement. She works closely with the Research & Development team to ensure every product meets the brand's exacting standards for design, functionality, and longevity. Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that architectural fittings should be considered with the same care as the spaces they inhabit, where proportion, materiality, and enduring performance are fundamental. That approach continues to shape ABI's growing portfolio of collections.
