A pop-up waste features a built-in mechanism that opens and closes with a simple press, offering both convenience and a sleek, modern look. In contrast, a plug-and-waste uses a separate removable rubber or metal plug to cover the drain manually. ABI Interiors offers stylish pop-up wastes designed to pair seamlessly with contemporary basins. However, pop-up wastes are not recommended for baths. We have the Bath Bend Pop Down with Connector specially designed for baths.
How do I know which waste fits my basin or sink?
To ensure the correct fit, you should check:
The diameter of the waste hole (usually 32mm or 40mm for basins, 40mm or 50mm for baths and sinks).
Whether the fixture has an overflow.

A bottle trap is a wall-hung plumbing component installed beneath a basin to catch debris and prevent odours. It's often visible, positioned beneath the basin or vanity, so choosing a finish that matches your waste and tapware will enhance the overall aesthetic of your space. ABI Interiors has bottle traps in all nine of our matching finishes for a seamless look.
