Inside ABI Interiors’ Open Home Experience Event
On Saturday, May 18th, we were honoured to welcome the community into our home to celebrate our mutual love for interior design with the opening of our contemporary Carrara Showroom and HQ in the Gold Coast.
Live music set the scene as attendees enjoyed free coffee and an Asian-inspired brunch menu at the new resident café, Café Junie.
“It was so nice to finally see the community enjoying our new space on the open day,” says Café Junie Co-Owner Gabrielle Hows. “We had a great turnout and received lots of positive feedback from customers.”
The Open Home Experience event also included a host of unique interactive activities, such as making bath salts, cupcake decorating, and ceramic tile painting.
“The tile painting workshop was so much fun!” says ABI Graphic Designer Jasmine Parrotta, who helped oversee the activity. “It was great to see so many people get involved and embrace their creative side.”
“The cake decorating activity was a fun and interactive way for our guests to demonstrate their creativity!” adds ABI Sales and Design Consultant (and designated in-house baker) Anna McMillan.
“We saw some beautiful cupcake designs, and we hope that our favourite vanilla cupcake recipe will be recreated and enjoyed in the homes of our ABI friends for years to come!”
First-ever Australian Moodboarding Masterclass
Another highlight of the day was our first-ever Australian moodboarding masterclass. The booked-out event saw beloved TV personality and ABI Brand Ambassador, Shelley Craft, share her invaluable advice which inspired participants to see their interior design dreams come to life.
But the most rewarding achievement of the day was raising $2,500 for Ronald McDonald House Charities — a worthy cause that our family business holds dear. The proceedings will help provide support to families in need during challenging times, and we are very grateful for everyone’s generous donations.
Overall, the Open Home Experience event was a triumphant success.
