This year, my partner Jay and I have been busy renovating a big part of our home! Doing renovations yourself is not for the faint-hearted, but it’s so rewarding, and I tip my hat to anyone on the same journey!
Instead of flying back to Tasmania these holidays, we’re staying put, so my Christmas wishlist is all about those finishing touches that’ll make our home feel cosy and complete, as well as a few things to help kick off next year’s big project—the ensuite. We’re almost there with the main rooms, and things like towels, laundry baskets, and decor are all we need to pull everything together. But with the ensuite renovation coming up, big-ticket items like basins, robe hooks, or even wall tiles would be a total game-changer!
I’m also really into clean beauty, so adding some Mukti and Aesop products to my wishlist is a must—not just for me, but for guests too. It’s all about carving out those moments for self-care, especially during the holidays when it’s so important to take a break from the everyday hustle and just unwind.

This year’s been a whirlwind, but now that the travel bags are unpacked and the event calendar is cleared, I’m leaning into some much-needed home time. Naturally, with a little downtime comes the inevitable side-eye at all the neglected corners of our home begging for a glow-up.
The ocean is my happy place, and while I love coastal decor, I’m not here for the cliché seashells-and-anchors look. Instead, I prefer to weave in ocean-inspired hues and natural textures that whisper ‘beach’ without actually throwing sand in my face.

By day, I’m a videographer—one half of the duo behind your favourite House Tours and Behind the Designs. By night (and let’s be honest, every other moment in between), I’m a full-time mum to a curious, mischievous 2-year-old who keeps me on my toes and fills my world with endless joy. He’s the absolute best!
We’re hands-down a beach-loving family, but this year, we’re switching scenery and having a White Christmas in Canada with my husband’s family—think cosy fires, mulled wine, and soft snow falling outside. Or, more realistically, wrestling my son away from the Christmas tree and praying the mulled wine doesn’t end up spilled all over the rug. Classic Christmas chaos, right?
No matter the time of year or where we are, I find so much comfort and joy in the kitchen. There’s something so relaxing and grounding about being creative with my hands while my little one’s right by my side—even if he’s creating a big ol’ mess! Although, after a busy day, it can be tough to feel inspired, so Luka McCabe’s Toddler to Table is definitely on my wishlist, along with a Toddler Kitchen Set for my son!
